Confectionery / Home bake baker

Inverurie garden centre restaurant is a well-established family run self-service restaurant situated within Inverurie.
All of our home bakes, cakes and desserts are made in our very own in-house bakery.
With a wide range of items made including,
Scones, shortbread, cheesecakes, tray bakes, dough rings, Pavlovas, muffins and mixed loaves

We are currently looking to employ a full time Confectionery / Home bake baker

Key Accountabilities of Confectionery / Home bake baker;

• Proven experience in similar role with a good understanding of baking requirements
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Support the bakery supervisor in managing the bakery
• Ensuring the achievement of targets by consistently offering high levels of produce
• Continues menu development using seasonal produce
• A commitment to quality
• Strong forward thinking, organizational & communication skills
• Always compliant with all statutory requirements e.g. health & safety; food hygiene.
• Have proof of right to work in the UK.

• No split shifts
• Early finishes
• Occasional weekends off

Salary/ Rate: Competitive based on experience
